| K so im hearin a lot about 'scripts' lately. What are they? Are they allowed? How do u know if someones is using them? Im not at all clever with these things, so please enlighten me!!!

| Ok mate, I'll try and explain best I can. All scripts are are files which perform certain tasks for you in game. They can perform certain tasks such as bunnyhopping by the script telling the game to "jump, turn left, jump, turn right" etcetc. They are NOT against VAC rules, you cannot get banned for them as they cannot particularly benefit in normal games, as they cant help your shooting etc. I don't know why ZfH rules say you cant use, cus they dont really do much, but whatever. You can't really tell who's using them, but they aren't illegal so who really cares.

| Some scripts can actually reduce ur recoil and fire rate on weapons, this is greatly improving ur chance to kill people, but this is mostly used in FFA. ( I do not use these scripts, but one of my friends got some )

No there aren't O_o there's wallhack and speedhack HACKS, not scripts. Scripts aren't hacks, they dont alter the game code, all they are is a list of instructions. Hacks alter game code. There's no such thing as wall/speed-hack scripts

| the difference of hacks and scripts are that HACKS are mostly .exe files and they take directly access into the game.
SCRIPTS are text lines that you add, remove, edit in a config (.cfg) file.

And yes u can get vac banned when ur using scripts. Thats allso from my firends experience. So cut the bullshit about that u cant ^^ hehe

| Your friend owned himself, VAC triggers when they detect 3rd party programs (.exe) The scripts themselves cannot get you banned, anything .exe's running with the game will. Your friend got banned for running a .exe, not scripting. Scripts are legal if you just place them into the game files, your friend made a stupid mistake by running them through .exe's'. I'm bored of this conversation lol, if you still dont believe me just look on the steam forums where the whole community tells you they are legal and you can't get banned for lol.
